How it works

  2. Review

    Every application is reviewed against the criteria above. Companies that fit the mandate are shortlisted.

  3. Conversation

    A first call covers the product, the market and the round. Where interest is mutual, a structured review of business, technology and terms follows.

  4. Decision

    Binaries Group communicates its decision directly. A positive decision proceeds to term sheet and documentation.

Questions

Which stages does Binaries Group invest in?

Pre-seed and seed. Companies typically have a working prototype or first customers and are raising their first or second institutional round.

What is the ticket size?

There is no fixed ticket. The amount is set per opportunity, according to the company’s stage, the size of the round and the milestone it is meant to fund.

Which countries do you cover?

Companies headquartered in Germany and elsewhere in Europe. Applications from outside Europe are generally outside the mandate.

Do you lead rounds or co-invest?

Both. Binaries Group may lead a round or join one led by business angels or venture funds.

Do you sign NDAs?

Not at the application stage, in line with common practice among early-stage investors. Applications are treated confidentially; please share only what you are comfortable disclosing at this point.

Will I receive feedback if my application is declined?

Shortlisted founders are contacted directly. Owing to the number of applications, Binaries Group cannot reply individually to every submission.

What happens to my data?

Your application is used solely to assess a possible investment. It is processed in the European Union and deleted twelve months after the last contact if no investment follows. Details are set out in the privacy policy.
